I'm going to the show in Columbia next Friday, and I am STOKED . . . especially since "Mothership" and "A Red So Deep" have been showing up in recent setlists (which inexplicably never seem to get posted in the Shows forum). Anyone else hitting that show?

Cursive's Domestica Picture Disc?

I bought Domestica back when it came out and I noticed that my copy of the cd was different from all of my friends. Mine has a picture of Sweetie and Pretty Baby on it and all of my friends' has a picture of the back cover or of the inside back cover. Was there a limited release of this disc or something?

Hey everyone...

I was wondering - a long time ago Tim did an instore acoustic set in London and the guitar he brought along was absolutely gorgeous... I even got the chance to play it when I requested "Valentine" (from the 1996 java joint show) and he had no memory of it! Anyway I think the name on the headstock began with T, like Takoma or Tahoma or something... but anyway it was the nicest sounding acoustic I've ever played... it had a body shape similar to this:...

Hey - is it just me or is the link to the forum from the main webpage gone? I'm talking about www.cursivearmy.com - I see tabs for Home, Releases, Downloads, Tours, Videos, Contact, Shop, and Mailing List...used to be there was a "Forum"-type tab somewhere up there, but now it's gone (on my computer at least). I had to google cursivearmy forum to find this place again...anyone else have this problem or just me?

Disappointing videos?

Ok don't get me wrong I love Cursive's music...they dominate my music collection and my daily ongoing mp3 shuffle, BUT enough justification:

I don't like any of the videos they've shot. None of them. The videos always seem to either be hokey-funny and detached from the song (Art is Hard, Big Bang) or extremely attached to the song (The Recluse, Dorothy, From the Hips). From the Hips was both. And the acting. Oh no hahahaa. I would have preferred simple performance...

"We're Going to Hell" is included in "The Ultimate Mix Tape" (I think that's what it's called) section. The blurb was fairly generic, it said something about the organ and violin, and then something like "The Omaha veterans always keep it interesting".

i've had this for a few years now, and when i got it, it was in such good condition i was wondering if it was a bootleg, tho i am not sure if it has ever been bootleged.

it has origonal lumberjack labels and the lumberjack adress on the back.

i do not know much about the origonal Disruption pressing on lumberjack, but i do know the artwork was also printed in yellow, mine is white.

the vinyl is transulcent orange.

My god. He destroyed "Mama I'm Swollen". I can't listen to it because of him. Blast me if you want, but this is someone who listened to Storms of Early summer while driving to high school. Mama I'm Swollen is by far the worst Cursive album, and it's terrible because Happy Hallow was phenomenal. What's going on, guys?
